The Kid Compass was created by a group of busy moms who found it challenging to locate the resources they needed in the greater Seattle area to care for their busy families. Unable to find a central resource, they resorted to search engines, phone calls, e-mails, networking, books and other publications to find the coolest places for family-friendly outings and other needed resources.
Like other busy parents, they wanted one up-to-date, reliable source to find art programs, music lessons, support groups, pediatricians and other useful information. Since no such resource existed, they created The Kid Compass to make searching for family-friendly resources effortless. With this labor of love in mind, they formed the small but passionate Kid Compass team who combined its experience and efforts to bring together family-friendly directory information to you in one easy-to-use, free, online resource.
No longer will you have to Google the entire Seattle area to find the perfect spot for your son's birthday party or a unique outdoor adventure for Father's Day weekend.
