| Description: | As true chocolate makers, we carefully steward our cacao (cocoa beans) through the process of roasting, blending and conching in order to coax out the distinctive flavor imparted by each unique growing region. We are proud to be the first roaster of Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa beans and the only roaster of organic cocoa beans in the United States.
Our production is guided by our passion for chocolate and our ultimate goal — to lead the industry with the excellence and integrity of our offerings. Our Theo Origin Bars feature premium dark chocolate from Venezuela, Ghana, Ecuador, Madagascar and the Ivory Coast. Our 3400 Phinney Chocolate Factory Bars feature organic and fair trade milk and dark chocolates in a range of delicious flavors. Theo is located in a beautiful, historic building in Seattle, Wa. | |
| Cost: | $5 per person ages 5 and older. | |
| Hours: | Retail Store is open from 10am to 6pm daily. We offer daily tours of the facility at 1pm and 3pm, with an addition 11am tour on Saturdays and Sundays. Please call ahead for your reservation, as tours fill up quickly. We look forward to seeing you!! | |

| Review: | It's a great tour for people who love the chocolate! We tasted and then retasted and after this tasted some more! Our guide was passionate about what she does and we left very happy and excited. If you don't want to take the tour you can still taste a lot in their retail store. A wonderful experience! |
